Egypt - Muslim call to prayer... I was half awake...

Mid-Year Spain 2011

Hello friends!

My team and I are here in Nerja, Spain safe and sound. Here is a verrrrry brief recap of the past few days:

Day 1: Bed bugs in our room. Gross!

Day 2: SUNshine! Worship! Rest!

Day 3: Bazaar - so cool! Almost everyone brought 5 items from their country and we did a swap! I got some pretty cool things :)

Day 4: Hanging out with new friends and spending time with our STINT coaches from the USA. They came to check-in, encourage and build us up during this week.

Day 5: MR. MIDYEAR - A fashion show of guys from a lot of the countries represented. It was pretty funny. It involved cultural apparel, dancing and random questions. The night ended with a dance party - which as some of you know, I love to DANCE!!!

Day 6: Ted [my friend who is teaching english in Spain] came to visit for the afternoon! We went into the Caves of Nerja! Really cool...

Day 7: FLYING ALL DAY... 3 countries in one day. Phew!

It was a great time to refocus and realize how fast the year is going! Thank you all for your partnership and friendship with me along the way.
